Robinhood Chain Explained: Add the Network and Launch a Token
What Robinhood Chain is, how to add it to your wallet, how to get ETH onto it, and how to create a fixed-supply ERC-20 token there with DegenKit.

Robinhood Chain is one of the newest networks a token creator can choose. Because it is new, most wallets do not list it by default, and many people are unsure how to get funds onto it. Those two steps cause most of the friction, not the token creation itself.
This guide covers what the network is, how to add it, how to fund it, and how to launch a token there.
What Robinhood Chain is
Robinhood launched the Robinhood Chain public mainnet in July 2026 and describes it as a permissionless layer 2 built using the Arbitrum platform. Its developer documentation calls it an Arbitrum layer 2 built on Ethereum that uses ETH for gas.
In practice, that means three things for a token creator:
- Tokens follow the ERC-20 standard, the same family as Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain.
- You use an EVM wallet such as MetaMask.
- Every transaction costs a small amount of ETH on Robinhood Chain, not ETH on Ethereum mainnet.
Step 1: Add the network to your wallet
DegenKit's Robinhood Chain page asks your wallet to add and switch to the network when you connect. You can also add it manually with these values:
- Network name: Robinhood Chain
- RPC URL:
https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com - Chain ID: 4663
- Currency symbol: ETH
- Block explorer:
https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com
Only accept a network prompt from a site you opened yourself, and check that the chain ID reads 4663.

Step 2: Get ETH onto Robinhood Chain
ETH sitting on Ethereum mainnet cannot pay fees on Robinhood Chain. It has to be moved first. According to Robinhood's bridging documentation, the canonical route is the Arbitrum bridge between Ethereum and Robinhood Chain. Partner bridges are listed separately.
Two timings are worth knowing before you start:
- Deposits to Robinhood Chain typically confirm within about 10 minutes.
- Withdrawals back to Ethereum through the canonical bridge take about 7 days, because of a challenge period.
Bridge only what you need for fees and your launch plan, and double-check the destination network before you sign.
Step 3: Create the token
The DegenKit Robinhood Chain launcher offers two creators.
Token Creator makes a plain ERC-20 token. You choose a name, symbol and total supply. The token uses 18 decimals, and the contract has no mint function, so the full supply is created once, in one transaction, straight to your wallet.
Tax Token adds a buy tax and a sell tax that you set, paid in your token to a wallet you choose. The tax applies only to trades against a liquidity pool, and only after you add liquidity and mark that pool under My Tokens β Manage tax. Wallet-to-wallet transfers are never taxed.
In both cases, the name, symbol and supply are permanent. Review them carefully, then check the service fee and network fee in your wallet before you approve.
Step 4: Verify on Blockscout
After confirmation, DegenKit shows the contract address and the transaction. Open both on Blockscout and compare:
- The network is Robinhood Chain, not Ethereum or another layer 2.
- The name, symbol and total supply match what you entered.
- The full supply sits in the wallet you expect.
- For a tax token, the rates and tax wallet match your notes.

What to tell your community
Robinhood Chain is new to many people, so do some of the work for them. Publish the full contract address together with the network name. Link the Blockscout page. Add the network settings to your launch post, so holders do not have to search for an RPC URL from an unknown source.
A token on Robinhood Chain is not the same token as one with the same name on Ethereum or Base. If you launch on more than one network, say which address is official on each.
Questions people ask
Is Robinhood Chain the same as the Robinhood app?
No. It is a public blockchain network. Using it requires a compatible wallet and ETH on Robinhood Chain.
Can I move my token to Ethereum later?
Not by itself. Moving tokens between chains requires a bridge that supports them. Plan your main network before launch.
Wrap up
Launching on Robinhood Chain takes four steps: add the network, bridge ETH, create the token and verify it on Blockscout. The first two are new for most people, so explain them in your launch post. Open the Robinhood Chain creator on DegenKit when your wallet is ready.
